Can you believe it's been ten years since Halsey released her debut album? Written all when the American pop-star was a teenager, Badlands is a moody concept album set in a dystopian world - a metaphor for mental health, and an escape into another world that's proven to mean a lot to millions of people across the globe.
Given Badlands holds such a special place in so many hearts, Halsey couldn't let the 10-year anniversary go by, releasing a deluxe anthology edition with new tracks as well as making a music video for fan-fave 'Gasoline'. Oh, and a little global tour too, 'Back to Bandlands', which is coming to Australia in February.
She'll kick off the set of special shows on Friday 13 February in Sydney at the Hordern Pavilion, before heading to Brisbane Riverstage on Tuesday 17 February and Melbourne Festival Hall on Thursday 19 February.
They mark her first shows in Australia since 2019. Since then, Halsey's been busy, releasing three albums -- 2020's Manic, 2021's If I Can't Have Love, I Want Power and 2024's The Great Impersonator.
Tickets will go on Sale from Friday 5 September at 10am, with several presales kicking off from Tuesday 2 September at 1pm. Be sure to hit up the Badlands tour page for all the info.
